changing in 2007
Following last years
purchase of
another model
orientated
business that is
outside of the
realms of
aviation models and to allow for
this divergence. We have
registered a new
company in the
name of Aviation
Miniatures which
will replace
Replica
Miniatures, with The
Replica
Miniatures Group
becoming the
holding company.
The two
companies will
remain separate
entities and
both will have
separate staff
that are
dedicated to the
particular
interests of
each site.
We have always developed
and maintained our own website in house and as site replacement becomes
necessary due to the aforementioned expansion, as well as time constrictions
that have unfortunately delayed product introduction.
We have decided that rather
than buy a ready made online template store that is becoming very common and
repetitive with general retailers these days. We are commissioning a renowned and independent website development
company to create a replacement database site. The new site will be based on the successful, much commented
and proven format, that currently exists, but with some changes for the better,
including faster loading, a fully integrated shopping cart with multiple
currencies, quicker site updating and a far superior search facility.
For the time being, this
site will remain
fully
operational
until the change
over and once this is complete, a
temporary
redirect will be
in place.
